Letter to Students/Clients
Who we are:
A grace based residence helping men find healing from addiction, helping them embrace a whole new way of living, and helping them redefine who they really are.
Come as you are. We want you to feel loved, safe, and a part of this family. We want this place to be where you share your real self without pretending, and a place where you can struggle or make mistakes and learn from them. We are going to be looking at the Gospel a lot. The Gospel is Good News about how much God really does love you, and really does forgive you for any and all wrongs you have done. He demonstrates this love through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His Son.
Come as you are:
All my hope:
Healing: We believe that addiction is not just something to get under control; it is a symptom of something inside of us that needs healing and it is something that only Jesus can heal through the power of God’s Spirit and Word.
New Way: We believe that it is important to begin to practice new ways of making decisions, new ways of relating to people and situations, and to have some new life experiences – to see that life can be enjoyed without being under the influence of a substance.
“…if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
Who You Really Are: Ultimately, our desire is to see someone who comes through The Table knowing who they are, and their life mission. In other words, we want to help people discover how they’re made and why they’re made that way, and to equip them to move that direction.
